Funeral services for Calvin C. Postoak are scheduled at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Rev. Vincent Baptiste officiating.  Interment will follow at McAlister Cemetery in Overbrook, Okla..
Calvin Postoak was born Nov. 7, 1927 in Ardmore, Okla. to Sam J. and Bernice (Gillard) Postoak.  He passed this life on Oct. 16, 2017 in the Ardmore Veterans Center. Calvin was a graduate of Plainview High School where he excelled in track, basketball and baseball. He also attended Haskell Institute in Lawrence, Kansas, East Central in Ada, Okla., and Southeastern in Durant, Okla.  He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp., U.S. Army, and the Texas Army National Guard. Calvin served 40 years in the U.S. Army. He retired from Lockheed Martin after 50 years of dedicated service as an Aircraft Design Engineer.  He was a Master Mason at the White Settlement Lodge #1372.
He and Francille Shoemaker were married Sept. 15, 1951, in Overbrook, Okla. After her passing on Sept. 27, 1992, he and Delima Marcell Atwood were married in Weatherford, Texas. Delima passed away on April 15, 2016.
Calvin is survived by one son, Richard Postoak of Fort Worth, Texas.; one brother, Wayne Postoak of Kansas: four sisters, Etta Johnson and Lucille Keith of Ardmore, Nora Birdshead and her husband Clifford of Anadarko, Okla. and Barbara Jean Postoak of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister in law, Doris Postoak of Ada, Okla. Numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Martha Watson, Jack, John, Edmond and Walter Postoak, Teresa Wallace and Marshall Keith Postoak.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robert McDonald, Eddie Joe Birdshead, Lory Postoak, Ken Postoak, J.C. Watson and Sammy George Postoak.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert McDonald, Clifford Birdshead, Bobby Phillips and Dr. Donald Conrad, and members of the Masonic Lodge #1372.
