Memorial services for Barbara Louise Riley, 86, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the McClure Chapel of the First United Methodist Church of Ardmore with Reverend Sam Donica officiating.

The daughter of the late Edmund E. and Viola Mader Hart, Barbara was born Dec. 13, 1930, in Eau Claire, Wis., and passed away on Oct. 22, 2017, in Oklahoma City.

Barbara graduated from Marion High School and received her Teaching Certificate from the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire. She married Dennis Larry Riley Sept. 2, 1950, in Eau Claire, Wis. He preceded her in death Oct. 13, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her sister Sally Pieper.

Barbara and Dennis lived in Ardmore since 1991. They enjoyed singing in the church choir, traveled extensively and they enjoyed hot air ballooning. Barbara enjoyed playing bridge, acting at the Little Theater and entertaining friends and family. She was member of the First United Methodist Church and the PEO.

Barbara is survived by her children, Cynthia Kay Dodds and husband Jerry of Russett, Okla.; Ann Riley-Rogers and husband Francis of Mill Valley, Calif.; and Larry Allan Riley and wife Judy of Claremore, Okla.; her sister Jane Gowen of Plano, Texas, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the United Methodist Committee on Relief, UMCOR, 458 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30308.
