Benjamin Tomlinson, Sr., 57, former long-time resident of Ardmore, passed away Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, at his sister’s home in Repton, Ala.
Benjamin was born on Aug. 19, 1960, to Joe Tomlinson and Helen Juanita (Kicklighter) Padgett in Savannah, Ga. Benjamin loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and had a keen interest in weather, even serving as a volunteer for Carter County Skywarn for several years. He was a Respiratory Therapist by trade and worked at hospitals all over Oklahoma, Georgia, and Florida.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his mother Nita; father Joe; step-father Vernon B. Padgett; brothers Charles Tomlinson and Vernon E. Padgett; and sister Linda Harwell.
He is survived by his sister Theresa Wallace and husband Terry, of Repton, Ala.; sister Amy McCue and husband John Michael, of Edmond; brother Roger Padgett and wife Teresa, and brother Billy Padgett, all of Alabama; son, Benjamin Tomlinson Jr; daughter Samantha Horn and her husband Geoffrey, of Ardmore; his beloved grandsons Tristan and Killian, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
