With multiple teams reaching the regional tournament, including one finishing as state runner-up, it’s no secret the LCC was a stacked lineup of teams from top to bottom.

The 2017 All-Conference awards were recently handed out to multiple teams within the conference, as LCC conference champion Lone Grove took home multiple awards.

Senior Sami Skelly was named as the Player of the Year, with teammate Brooklyn Mason taking home Defensive Player of the Year honors, and freshman Emmy Guthrie earning Pitcher of the Year honors.

Also representing LGHS on the All-Conference list was Maci McMurtrey and Taleigh Nail.

Plainview’s Rylee Keith was honored as the Offensive Player of the Year, with teammates Brooklyn Storts and Hannah Ramirez also being named as All-Conference selections.

Newcomer of the Year went to Grace Anderson from Tishomingo, with teammates Kristen Lovett and Rylee Barnes also being named all LCC.

Representing Kingston was Taylor Spence and Dana Wagnon, while Bailey Gammill and Kyann Melton made the list for Madill.

Kelsie Allen and Shanna McKown earned all-LCC honors for Dickson, while Makella Mobly and Macenzie Ruth were named from Sulphur.

Sydney Martin and Brinlee Dulaney were honored from Davis, with Brianna Dewey and Miranda Curbow earning honors from Marietta.
