Funeral services for Barry Jo Broughton are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Reverend’s Ron Elmore and Rusty Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Barry Jo was born Dec. 23, 1920, in Springer, Okla., to George and Milda (Rose) Adair.  She passed this life on October 25, 2017, in Ada, Okla., at the age of 97.
She is survived by a son, Dan Broughton and his wife Ann of Norman, Okla.; daughters, Jovan Hodges of Ada, Okla., and Adrianne Fox of Norman, Okla.; a special nephew, Glen Dewey Adair; grandchildren, Dennis and Blake Broughton of Norman, Judy Hise and her husband Frank, of Lucas, Texas, Jovan Buckley and husband David of Chicago, Illinois, Brett Broughton and wife Bailey Ann, Eric Broughton of Dallas, Texas. Ten great-grandchildren; Allyson, Danielle, Chase, Caroline, Lee Broughton, Samantha, Tripp and Rachel Hise, Carmen and Teagen Buckley. Two great-great -grandchildren; Jeremiah and Nolan. Cousins; Huberta Fore, Dewey Canfield, Philous Whisenhunt and Judy Nehib, Billy Frank Jones, David Jones and Lynn Prater.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Dennis Broughton, Blake Broughton, Brett Broughton, Eric Broughton, Lee Broughton and Mel Adair.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Williams, Jimmy Wright, Michale Haggard, Cecil Fuentes, Bill Maddox, Larry Holbrook, Glen Dewey Adair, Charles Dunlap and Gary Simmons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Adrian Broughton, brother D.G. Adair and wife Fern.  Son-in-law, Johny Hodges.
