1 Halloween festivities kick off downtown Tuesday at 3 p.m. for Trick or Treat on Main Street.  Bring the children out for this Fall tradition in the Downtown Depot District. This community event will take place in the downtown blocks  beginning with E Street through Caddo. Streets, including side streets, will be blocked off beginning at 2:45 p.m. The event includes a best costume contest beginning at 4 p.m. at the Tivoli Theater. 2 Movie Night in the Park begins at dusk Saturday at Central Park. The Ardmore Parks and Recreation Department presents “Sing” the 2016 animated family-comedy staring Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon where “in a city of humanoid animals, a hustling theater impresario’s attempt to save his theater with a singing competition becomes grander than he anticipates even as its finalists find that their lives will never be the same.” The film is rated PG.

3 Country music icon Clint Black will take the stage Saturday at Heritage Hall. Black, best known for his 1989 hit “Killing Time” has had more than 30 singles reach the US Billboard country charts, with more than 22 reaching number 1. After a 10-year hiatus, Black returned to the country music scene in 2015 with the release of  his 12th album On Purpose. Opening act, including special guest Hudson Moore, begins at 7 p.m.

4 Fall fair season begins at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Ardmore Convention Center with the 2 Hip Chicks Roadshow. This show features everything from clothing to home décor, party goods and food, and many other unique items.

5 The Ardmore Parks and Recreation Department looks to create a new tradition while showing off the newest addition to Regional Park with the Turkey Tourney disc golf tournament begins at 4 p.m. Saturday at the new Regional Park Disc Golf Course. The first 25 people to register will receive a free player’s pack. Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. The highest scorer will receive a free turkey. Registration deadline is Wednesday. To register stop by the Parks and Recreation  Department offices in Regional Park.
