Through two games, it’s so far so good for the Turner Lady Falcons.

Friday night the ladies in blue and white claimed their second victory of the season, a 54-44 road win over Milburn.

THS was down 15-13 after the first quarter, and trailed at the half 31-26 after being outscored 16-13 in the second quarter.

After both teams scored eight points in the third quarter, the Lady Falcons turned up the offense in the fourth, going on a 20-5 run to seal the victory.

Rylee Carter led the Lady Falcons with 20 points in the win, followed by Alli Willis with 11 points.

Jaleigh Durst added seven points, with Calli Hawkins and Hannah Gilbreath each scoring four points.

Meanwhile the Turner Falcons evened their record at 1-1 on the season with a blowout 75-24 victory over Milburn in the night cap.

Colton Empey and Mikel Roberts led the Falcons with 12 points each while Asher Hartman scored 11 points. 

Turner will be back in action Tuesday night against Colbert with games beginning at 6:30 p.m.

THS will then be back at home Friday night as both teams will take on Wilson.
