In their constant pursuit of competing against the best competition, multiple runners from across the area traveled to Rogers, Arkansas this past weekend to take part in the annual Oklahoma/Arkansas dual race.

In their constant pursuit of competing against the best competition, multiple runners from across the area traveled to Rogers, Arkansas this past weekend to take part in the annual Oklahoma/Arkansas dual race.

While team Arkansas came out on top in both the girls and the boys races, Madill and Plainview both had representatives participate in the race.

The Class 4A state champion Lady Indians were represented by Jacey Keith, Emily Butler and Madi Turner in the race, while Madill was led by Miguel Duran.

Keith finished in 28th overall in the girls race with a time of 20:38.63, with Butler claiming 39th overall with a time of 21:40.41. 

Turner was close behind her Lady Indians teammate in 40th overall with a time of 22:10.55.

As for Duran in the boys race, he finished with a time of 17:14.17 which brought him 29th overall.

Each runner was apart of the Oklahoma All-Stars team, and to participate in the race in Arkansas, each participant had to qualify for the Meet of Champions race which was held the previous week in Norman.
