Autry Harold Weems 77, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, went to meet His Lord and Savior whom he loved dearly on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, at his home in Tishomingo. Harold was born to the late Ruben Harold Weems and Rosa Lee Lowry Weems on Oct. 21, 1940, in Mannsville, Oklahoma, and raised at Greasy Bend.  He graduated from Mannsville High School in 1958.  He loved to ride his bicycle, play ball, fish, hunt, and drive and work on cars. He worked as a carpenter, milk truck driver and for the county, and at General Motors and Michelin Tires at Ardmore. After he married Joan on March 23, 1991, he started ranching. Harold and Joan started Victory Home Health and Hospice, and Medical Equipment. The Lord blessed their endeavors. Harold trusted the Lord as Savior and became a member of the Mannsville Assembly of God in the 1970s. Harold loved to travel, so he and Joan have traveled to almost every state as well as Canadian provinces. He loved to ride trains. He rode the trans-continental Rocky Mountain Express, the Polar Bear Express, the train between Silverton and Durango, and the Cog rail at Pikes Peak, Colorado and at Mount Washington, New Hampshire. Another of Harold’s love was going to gospel singings. We could sit for hours and listen to good gospel music. Bud, Doris, and us would go to Seminole Gospel Singing and Brumley Gospel Singing each year and eat out, shop and have fun. He loved to go to Branson and listen to the Presleys and Baldknobbers. In recent weeks, his multiple illnesses made him home bound, then chair bound and unable to walk. Friends describe him as the most gentle, humble, and kind person. He was definitely the  love of Joan’s life.
