Audrey (Pudge) May Davis, 75, of Tishomingo, Okla. passed away Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at the Mercy Hospital in Tishomingo. Audrey, known as Pudge to her friends and family, was born on May 30, 1942, in Leon, Okla., to the late Andy and Jessie (Hall) Reed. She was raised in Grady, Okla., and attended classes and graduated from Ringling High School. She later moved to Tishomingo, where she remained for the rest of her life. She worked several jobs including; The Burger Shoppe, Dairy Queen, Sundowner Trailers, and the Harris Medical Center in Ft. Worth, where she served for serval years as a dietary technician. Audrey enjoyed collecting chickens, growing flowers, working on puzzles, and crocheting. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Tishomingo.
She is survived by children; Kevin Wayne Davis and wife Karen of Lewis, Kansas, Kimberley Canaday and husband Mark of Tishomingo, Okla., Karlene Barnes and husband Dustin of Mannsville, Okla, siblings; Carl Reed and wife Mary of Madill, Okla., and Pauline McGlocklin of Tishomingo, Okla; 7 grandchildren, Dayna Grissett, Shawna Eaves, Shelly Barker, Jessica Willingham, Abbey Kate Canaday, Diamond Carter Colton Barnes; 8 great-grandchildren.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Ruth Dean; one baby sister; and one brother, Bill Reed.
Visitation will be held at the Watts Funeral Home in Madill from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 31, 2017, with a family hour from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Mannsville, Okla., on Friday, December 1, 2017. Officiating will be Kevin Russell and Kenneth McCarthick. Interment will be at the Lone Cedar Cemetery in Mannsville, Okla. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Okla.
