RINGLING — Services are scheduled for Mrs. Marjorie Ellen (Patkowski) Abshire, 79, of Ringling for 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling with her son, Phillip Abshire, and grandson, Cody Abshire officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery.
Marjorie Ellen (Patkowski) Abshire was born Sept. 18, 1938, at Camargo, Okla., to the late Mr. Max Victor Patkowski and Mrs. Gladys Corrine (Davis) Patkowski. She departed this life on Friday, Dec.22, 2017, at her home in Ringling.
Marjorie was raised at Vici where she attended school and graduated from High School in 1956 as the Salutatorian.  She then began college at OBU. Marjorie was then employed by a Psychologist in Oklahoma City and later had a book dedicated to her for her hard work and dedication.  She met the love of her life, Mr. Coy L. Abshire and they were married on May 20, 1961, at the Wilson First Baptist Church. Together they made their home in Ringling for the last 40 years. Marjorie was a devoted homemaker and housewife who was an amazing cook. She and Coy always attended church and were devout Christians.
Preceding her in death are her parents; sisters, Claria Louise Patkowski and Corrine MacIntosh and brother, Dick Patkowski.
Survivors include her husband, Coy of the home; daughters, Cynthia Camplain and husband Steve of Ringling, Angela Miller and husband Richard of Lone Grove; son, Phil Abshire and wife Donnell of Ardmore; sister, Bernita Dial; brothers, Frank, Victor, Mick, and Rick; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.
Casket Bearers will be Steven Camplain, Cody Abshire, Kyle Camplain, Phil Abshire, Josh Mouse, and Hunter Abshire.
Honorary Bearers are Aden Terry, Braxton Terry, Aisley Abshire, and Noah Abshire.
Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday evening at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
