Ardmore reaches the final, but has to face off with the host Shawnee Lady Wolves.

This series added another chapter Saturday night, but once again it was not in favor of the Lady Tigers.

A low-scoring affair resulted in the No. 4 Lady Tigers being handed their second loss of the season by the No. 16 Lady Wolves from Class 6A by a score of 41-35.

In the first quarter, Shawnee managed to outscore Ardmore 12-8, before the Lady Wolves added 12 more points before halftime, while the Lady Tigers managed to add 11 of their own.

Another 12-8 run by Shawnee in the third quarter kept the Lady Wolves in front, before Ardmore managed to outscore the Lady Wolves in the fourth quarter 8-5.

Sierra Gordon led the Lady Tigers with 18 points followed by J’Sades Ainsworth with nine points.

Amaya Gordon added four points, with Tieronay Banks putting in three points.

Ardmore (15-2) will be on the road Tuesday night against Duncan beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The Lady Tigers will then be at home Friday night taking on the McAlester Lady Buffs also beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Ardmore High School Gymnasium.
