Funeral services for Fred Paul, Jr, 91, of Ardmore, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Harvey-Douglas Centennial Chapel with Danny Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Cornish Cemetery, Ringling, Okla.
The youngest of eight children, Fred was born July 20, 1926, at Wirt, Oklahoma to Fred W. and Mary P. Thomas Paul.  He died after an extended illness at his home on Jan. 20, 2018.
Fred graduated from Orr High School in 1944.  After high school, he served in the 13th Air Force in the Pacific Rim. He and Bonnie Floyd were married Jan. 22, 1949, at Gainesville, Texas. She preceded him in death in 1992. He and Mary Brewer Reed were married Dec. 30, 1995.
After his military service, he graduated from the School of Horology, Hardin College, Wichita Falls, Texas and was a watchmaker and jeweler in Ardmore for over 40 years. Fred enjoyed playing his fiddle and guitar.  He was Baptized Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of the home.; two daughters, Sandy Eischen and husband, Joe, Tulsa, Jean Hattensty, Ardmore, and two sons, Fred, Georgetown, Texas, and Tommy and wife Kim, Ardmore; step children – Joyce and husband, Jon Grant, Ardmore, Lois Reed, Phoenix, Arizona, Sherry and husband, Tim Campbell, Fort Worth, and Elvis Reed and wife, Tracy, Marietta; He is survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by two sisters, Flora Houghton and Oleta Yeatts; and five brothers, Luther, Lee, Fay, Carl, and Alva.
Pall bearers will be his grandsons, Matt Paul, Jimmy Paul, Eli Paul, Scotty Paul, Duchaine Paul, Jacob Eischen, Clint Bowker, Chase Bowker and  Ronnie Eischen.              
The family will receive friends at the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home Monday evening from 6-7 p.m.
