Tommy Ewing Jackson was born Nov. 21, 1934, to Claude Bradshaw and Elise Marie (Ewing) Jackson in Terrell, Okla. He passed from this life on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at the age of 83.

On May 7, 1954, Tommy married the love of his life, Ellen “Charlene” McNeil. Together they celebrated 60 wonderful years of marriage. From this union they had three daughters, Brenda, Tomi and Jamie. Tommy was a dedicated husband, father and disciple to his Lord, Jesus Christ. He lived his life with a pure heart and loved his family with everything he had.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Elise Marie Jackson; wife, Ellen “Charlene” Jackson; daughter, Jamie Richardson; granddaughter, Michelle Williams; and brother, James Leon Jackson.

He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Strickland and her husband Stan, of Howe, Texas, and Tomi McNairn of Ardmore; grandchildren, Allison McGill, Kelly Evans, Brian Strickland, Melanie Martin and Chad McNairn; and great-grandchildren Justin, Tyler, Madison, McKenna, Chase, Kaylee, Avery, Myla, Knox, Gentry and Adalynn.

Dustin Martin, Brian Strickland, Clay Evans, Jared McGill, Stan Strickland and Chad McNairn will serve as pallbearers.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at the First Baptist Church of Ardmore with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday evening at Craddock Funeral Home.
