After waiting all season, area teams in classes 2A-4A now know where their playoff journeys will begin.

After waiting all season, area teams in classes 2A-4A now know where their playoff journeys will begin.

It was announced recently in Class 4A that the Ardmore boys and girls teams will host their district tournament, as they will face off against McLoud.

Another team hosting in Class 4A is the Plainview Indians and Lady Indians, as they will face off against Tuttle at the Plainview Activity Center.

Both Plainview and Ardmore’s regional main site is Ardmore High School, with the sub-site being at Blanchard. 

Sulphur’s teams were also granted hosting rights, as they were drawn against Bridge Creek.

The regional main site for Sulphur is Anadarko, with the sub-site being Heritage Hall in Oklahoma City.

The area tournament will take place at Washington.

As for Madill, they were drawn against Broken Bow, with the contests taking place on the road. Madill’s regional main site is Bethel, with the sub-site at Pauls Valley. The area tournament will take place at Beggs.

In the Class 3A ranks, Kingston and Marietta were granted hosting duties, as they will play Lindsay and Valliant respectively. The regional main site for these teams is Washington, with the sub-site being at Kingston.

Lone Grove’s teams were handed a road trip to Comanche in their district, with Davis also on the road against Riverside, and Tishomingo at Idabel.

The regional main site for these teams is at Lone Grove, with the sub-site at Atoka.

As for the Dickson teams, they will be traveling to Washington for their district tournament matchups.

Area will take place at Ada for all of these teams listed above. 

Healdton will also enjoy the comforts of home as the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs begin the Class 2A playoffs. They will be joined by Wilson and Minco in their respective district tournament.

The regional main site for these squads will be Boone-Apache, with the sub-site at Minco.

Area will take place at Chickasha. 

The official brackets are scheduled to be released next week by the OSSAA.
