Less than 24 hours after nearly everything went right for the Plainview Indians, it all of a sudden went wrong on Saturday afternoon.

The Cache Bulldogs caught fire shooting the ball, while Plainview struggled from the field, leading to a 61-41 defeat at Ardmore High School in the Regional Consolation semifinals, eliminating the Indians from the playoffs.

Plainview managed just six points in the first quarter, while Cache scored 17.

At the end of the first half it looked like the Indians were starting to gain momentum as they outscored the Bulldogs 16-14 to trail just by nine points at 31-22.

Unfortunately, the Indians suffered another single digit scoring quarter in the third, and were looking at a 50-31 deficit going to the fourth.

Cache finished the game off with an 11-10 fourth quarter run.

Blake Nowell and Devin Jones each scored 11 points apiece to lead the Indians in the contest.

Plainview ended its season at 22-5 overall.
