Amid a rash of burglary and vandalism cases over the past several weeks, one case has lead to an arrest of a juvenile as law enforcement continues to investigate.
The incident took place yesterday in the 900 block of 2nd Avenue NW. At least two subjects allegedly broke into a residence. One subject, a 17-year old male, was arrested and sent to the Office for Juvenile Affairs with charges sent to Carter County District Court.
Another man, Akari Jaque Tucker, 24, is wanted for questioning in connection with the alleged crime. Tucker was released from Oklahoma Department of Corrections custody in November of last year and is currently serving probation for felony convictions including burglary, possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, and possession of a firearm after felony conviction.
“Tucker is currently wanted for questioning,” Ardmore Police Capt. Keith Ingle said. “There has not been a warrant issued at this time.”
Tucker is described as a 6’ 2” black male with several tattoos across his neck, arms and chest. He also has a tattoo below his left eye.
If you have any information on Tucker, please contact the Ardmore Police Department at (580) 221-2515 or (580) 223-1212.
