Gamblers and non-gamblers alike have an opportunity for an exciting night at the Family Shelter of Southern Oklahoma’s annual Casino Night fundraiser on March 30th.
The event will be held at the Ardmore Convention Center. The event’s goal is to benefit the local shelter and raise awareness for domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. “Last year we cleared $40,000,” said shelter director Kathy Manning. “We hope to reach $50,000.” The casual dress benefit will have something for everyone to do, whether they hit the tables or not.
Several casino tables will be open, including craps, blackjack, Texas holdem, and roulette. Prizes will be offered in addition to raffles going on throughout the event. Drinks and refreshments will be offered with an option to donate for those as well. New additions to the event this year include a $25 wine pull, where guests pay for full bottles from a varied stock from bargain to expensive selections, and a photo booth by photographer Chloe Jones. Jones will also be onsite for candid pictures throughout the event.
Those interested in attending should contact the shelter to register and pay the $75 entry fee. RSVP to (580) 226-3750.
