This week has seen a lot of success for the Lone Grove Girls golf team.

Just two days after winning their first tournament of the year at the Max Williamson Invitational, the Lady Horns earned another solid finish on Wednesday at the Class 3A state preview event, which was held at the Westwood Park Golf Course in Norman.

Lone Grove shot a 347 as a team, with Purcell winning the overall title with a 338.

Izzy Lette was the top finisher for the Lady Horns with a 77, which earned her a tie for fourth in the individual standings. Megan Biber finished tied for ninth with an 85.

Madison Anderson carded a 90 for the tournament, with Shelby Delano at 95 and Destine Coffman at 96.

Paige Anderson and Hyden Eply played as individuals representing Lone Grove as they shot a 99 and 117 respectively.

Sulphur also brought two individual golfers to the tournament in Jordan Goodman and Emilee Handy who each shot a 94 and 121 for the tournament respectively.
