In their continuing quest to face off against quality competition, the Plainview Lady Indians golf team was given an exclusive opportunity to do so on Wednesday.

In their continuing quest to face off against quality competition, the Plainview Lady Indians golf team was given an exclusive opportunity to do so on Wednesday.

Plainview was invited to compete in the ultra-competitive Jenks Invitational tournament which took place at the South Lakes Golf Course in Jenks.

The Lady Indians managed to take third overall in the competition, with Bixby winning the team trophy followed by Jenks in second place.

Senior Katie Finley won the individual title on the day, shooting a 71 to lead the Lady Indians.

Hallie Schultz shot an 81 for the tournament, with Adeline Norton at 82, Reagan Chaney at 93, and DA Smith at 95. 

Lindyn Ross also competed for the Lady Indians in Jenks as an individual, carding a score of 90 for the tournament, with Carrie Hutching also representing Plainview with a 97. 

Plainview’s Lady Indians will be back in action Monday as they host the Plainview Invitational tournament at Dornick Hills Country Club in Ardmore.
