Overbrook resident, Ralph “Pinky” Meeks, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018, in a Midwest City, hospital.  Pinky was born Feb. 8, 1940, at Ardmore to the late Alva M. “Trig” Meeks and Lenora McIntosh Meeks.
A graduate of Springer High School, the class of 1958, he had attended Oklahoma State University studying veterinary medicine. A welder by trade, Pinky was retired from Uniroyal Tire Co., where he had worked for 26 years.  
Pinky is survived by his brother, Steve Meeks; nephews and nieces, Vaughn Brown & Lou Ann Stahl; Denny & Kristy Meeks; Stealey Brown and Brissa Tyner; Jason and June Hare and Kody Pletcher. In addition to his parents, Pinky was preceded in death by a sister, Joy Kilgore.
Rev. Ron Elmore officiated a Gathering of Remembrance in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home, at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018.
