The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported late Tuesday that a Wilson teen was injured after losing control of the vehicle he was driving, crashing the 2002 GMC pickup. The vehicle left the roadway where the teen attempted to regain control, ultimately over-correcting and striking a tree, according to trooper reports.
The crash happened on Bull Run Road, about 2 miles south of Wilson. The Wilson teen was transported to Plano medical Center in Plano, Texas, where he was admitted in critical condition with head, trunk and leg injuries. According to trooper reports, the teen was ejected from the vehicle and thrown approximate 15 feet, before the vehicle caught fire.
