Charges were filed in Carter County District Court Monday against Jennifer Dawn South, 32, Springer. South is charged with a felony count of harboring a fugitive from justice. According to court records, the District Attorney along with the arresting agency, Carter County Sheriff’s office, filed the charging documents which state South allegedly harbored Keith Hennessy, who was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm after former conviction of a felony in Love County Court in 2017.
The initial appearance was heard by Judge Carson Brooks Monday. Preliminary conference was set for June 28th and bond was set at $2,500. South filed bond Tuesday and her release was issued.
Court records show Hennessy currently still has outstanding warrants for Love County.
