Wednesday morning, Ardmore police officer Caleb Landis responded to a call regarding possibly aggressive animals near the 600 block of 3rd Avenue NW.
According to the police report, the caller stated two pit bull terriers “kept getting out and being aggressive.” The caller said the animals were allowed to run free and they were “sick and tired of it.” The reporting party told the officer they believed the animals lived on F Street NW.
The resident in that home indicated that only one of the animals belonged there. That resident was issued a municipal complaint regarding the potentially vicious dog. The owners of the other animal were unable to be located.
