Funeral services for Joyce Dean Greenwood, 77, will be held Tuesday afternoon, June 12,  at 2  p.m. in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Yeager officiating.  Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery with the assistance of Bill Grover, Charles Lemley, Daniel Johns, Quinton and Nicholas Parrott and Robert Brown.
Joyce was born June 3, 1941, in Ardmore, the daughter of the late Leo Hubert and Ruby Lee Kent Parrott, and went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday evening June 8, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Joyce always was a caring person, being that she cared for her children, perhaps  someone else’s children, a friend or even one of her neighbors.  She always did the best she could with what she had.  She was the glue that held her family together.
Joyce was the mother of Frankie, Terry, Kathy, Charles, and “Tinker and Lula Bell”, a grandmother to Robby, Natasha, RaeAnn, Edward,  Jeremy, Brandon, Cheyanne, David Lane, Baby R.B., Amber, Liam, Memory, Malia, Landon, Blake, Addalin and Harleigh; a NaNa to Lindsey, Jadie, Kaleb, Quinton and Nicholas.  She was also an auntie to Amy and Bo Bagley and Kelly Parrott, mother in law of Linda, a sister of Glenda, Carolyn, Charles, Larry, Dorothy, Hubert, Linda, Mike, LaVella and David; and a friend to everyone.
Services entrusted to the care of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home and Crematory, where memorial condolences for the family may be made online at www.hdouglasfuneralhome.com.
