Early voters be advised — the Carter County Election Board has moved to a new location as of January 2018.
In-person voting starts this week and will be the first election cycle since the move. The Election Board office is now located at 25 A Street NW, Suite 100. The office’s new location is at the end of the alley between Main Street and Broadway on A Street — the former Noble Energy Building.
“Turn just after the Grace Center,” Diane Hall, Election Board secretary said.
Parking is available in front of the office as well as at the corner of Broadway and B Street NW. There is accessible parking and a ramp for entry at the front entrance of the building.
“We have very nice facilities,” Hall said. “There is much more room for in-person voting.”
Early voting for the June 26 primary election will be held from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday June 21 and Friday June 22 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday June 23 at the new Election Board office location. For questions about the ballot or to view a sample ballot, you may go to the Election Board office or go online to elections.ok.gov.
