Funeral Services for Clyde Thomas “Pops” High will be held at 10 a.m. at the Church of Christ on Merrick Drive on Thursday, June 28, 2018, officiated by Ron Benedick and Willie Sanchez. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, with the assistance of Jared Wiley, Landon Gary, Jordan Gary, Brandon Offield, Cody Offield, Blain Elliott, Bryce Walker and Mason Morris serving as pallbearers. Honorary bearers include the Men’s Prayer Breakfast Group and Clyde’s Golfing Buddies.
A time of visitation support for family and friends will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Harvey Douglas Funeral Home.
Clyde was born Jan. 29, 1952, in Mangum, Okla., to the late Charles W. High and Pauline (Uselton) High. He went to the 19th hole on Sunday, June 24, 2018, after a full weekend of family fun.
Clyde married Debbie Keeton on Nov. 26, 1971. They were blessed with two children and four grandchildren. Clyde is survived by wife Debbie, of the home; son Jay and wife Melanie of Copperas Cove, Texas, and their sons Christopher and Dylan; daughter Averie and husband Jeremy Nelson of Augusta, Kansas, and their daughters Ellie Jo and Emmalynn Kay. He also leaves behind his mother, Pauline, sister Donna Goode and husband Jerry, all of Ardmore.
Clyde was a faithful member of the Church of Christ on Merrick Drive.  He enjoyed being of service to his church family and friends. Pops was loved and adored by many and his spirit is one that will never leave us.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Clyde’s honor to the Church of Christ on Merrick Drive or to the charity of your choice.  Please join us in celebrating Clyde by wearing your casual attire to the service.
