Colston Building owner Lisa Beane confirmed this morning that there were no injuries in a collision which destroyed part of the front entrances of the building last night.

"The man who cleans the building for us was inside at the time," Beane said. "He said it shook the whole building." The vehicle was wedged between the doors and the flower bed out front, damaging both.

Ardmore Police Capt. Keith Ingle said the scene was a result of a chase involving an allegedly stolen vehicle and Kyla Wallace, 24, of Ardmore. Ingle said Wallace was arrested and booked into the Carter County Detention Center last night.

Crews are hard at work this morning to shore up the damaged building despite the rain. Total damages are unknown at this point.

All businesses are still open at this time.
