Marjorie Sue Fanning Behm was born on Aug. 18, 1930, in Wann, Okla., to the late Edna and Abe Fanning. She attended schools in Copan and Vinita, Okla.  

The mother of four children, Cheri Clark, Stephen Yost, Kenneth Yost and Julie Pickett. Sue was an avid reader, a talented gardener and a lover of music. She lived most of her life in northeast Oklahoma, Vinita and Tulsa. In 1990, she moved to Ardmore to be near family.  

On July 20, 2018, the Lord removed all illness from her, when he took her to His eternal home.  

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Yost.

Sue is survived by her daughters, Cheri Clark (James) and Julie Pickett (Mike); grandchildren, Stephanie Jordan, Betsy Clark, Jaye Foster, Shelby Pickett and Jesse Yost; great-grandchildren, David Jordan, Jr.,  Brinton Foster, Ande Foster and Natalie Foster; her brother, Robert Fanning; and nieces and nephews, Jeff Fanning, Carolyn Ott, Mike Fanning, Martha Hand and Linda Wilborn.

The family extends heart-felt thanks to those caregivers at Elmbrook Suites, who attended Sue during her illness, and special recognition to Cross Timbers Hospice, without whose help, Sue’s transition from this earthly life would have been more difficult.
