Elizabeth Alice (Gillispie) Moss was born in Manhattan, Kansas to Bobby and Betty (Borarth) Gillispie on December 28, 1969. She went to be with the Lord on Aug. 30, 2017 in Greeley, Colo. at the age of 47.
On July 30, 2001, Elizabeth married Jeffrey Moss in Westminster, Colorado. Together they raised six children. She enjoyed playing Bingo, scrapbooking, and traveling to the Mountains. Elizabeth had a magical “green thumb” which she used while spending countless hours in her garden. She will be remembered most by her friends and family for her love of baking banana bread. Elizabeth would routinely make pounds of banana bread and fill her home with the loving aromas. Above all else, Elizabeth loved her family, her children, and especially her grandchildren. She also attended Journey Christian Church in Greeley, Colo.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father Bobby Joe Gillispie.
She is survived by her husband Jeff Moss of Evans, Colo.; children, Joshua Moss and his wife Heather of South Dakota, Maelina Pickett and her husband Kody, Andrew Moss, Alisha Carlino, Bobbie Moss, and Rebecca Moss, all of Greeley; grandchildren, Jack, Rowen, and Raven Moss; siblings, Rusty Gillispie and his wife Barbara, and Debbie Eaves, both of Oklahoma; and mother, Betty Gillispie.
Memorial Service will be Thursday, Aug. 2 at 10 a.m. at Newport Cemetery with Pastor Bob Lee officiating.
