Services for Ronald Allen “Ronnie” Moore, of Marietta, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2018, in Marietta’s First Baptist Church with Pastor Shane Norton officiating. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Marietta, will follow under the direction of Flanagan-Watts Funeral & Cremation Services, Marietta.
Born in Jacksonville, S.C. on March 5, 1973, Ronnie was the son of Lewis and Valeria Beatrice Brown Moore. He passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, near Marietta at the age of 45.
Ronnie and the former Shawna Davis were married in the Criner Hills community on June 21, 1992, and two years later the couple moved to Love County to make their home. Since that time Ronnie has been very involved in numerous community activities. He had been an employee of the Red River Valley Rural Electric Association for 14 years, and after completing lineman school worked as a lineman. Ronnie served as a member of the Marietta School Board and was also very active in Marietta’s First Baptist Church. He was a loyal fan of the Marietta Indians and announced football games. Ronnie enjoyed music and played guitar and bass. He also loved fishing and traveling, but most of all he treasured the time spent with family, especially his grandchildren. Ronnie will be remembered as one who loved helping people and working.  
He was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, Kenneth Schultz; and grandparents, James and Pat Brown and Irene Moore.
Survivors include his wife, Shawna Moore of the home; mother, Valeria Schultz of Tishomingo; son, Blake Moore and wife Kelli of Durant; brother, Ken Schultz and wife Sharla of Bromide; five sisters, Becky Hinds and husband Buddy of Atoka, and Donna Schultz and Chris Utts, Carol Walling and husband Bennie, Carla Brown and husband Jay, and Trisha Schultz, all of Tishomingo; and two grandchildren, Elijah Scott Moore and Adeline Rose Moore.
Serving as casket bearers will be James Brown, Ken Schultz, Jeff McKenzie, Jeff Dooley, Eric Gallaway. Honorary bearers are REA linemen and staff, Tyler Davis, and Mario Perez.
Time of visitation for family and friends will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
