The Wilson Eagles managed to give their new head coach Kenny Ridley a winning start in his first game at the helm Friday night, as Wilson defeated Paoli 36-6 at Skinny Stewart Stadium.

Trevor Schaaf caught the first touchdown of the evening when Logan Schaaf found him for a 13-yard touchdown in the first quarter.

Logan Schaaf then made it 12-0 in the first when he scampered in for a 20-yard touchdown, with Trevor Schaaf successfully converting the two-point conversion to make it 14-0.

After a scoreless second quarter, Logan Schaaf made it 20-0 with a 6-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Trevor Schaaf converted the two-point conversion to make it 22-0.

Paoli then struck back with a 23-yard touchdown pass, but the Eagles had an answer.

Logan Schaaf found Carson Fulton for a 27-yard touchdown pass, making it 28-6 after the failed two-point conversion.

Trevor Schaaf then put the game away with a 44-yard rushing touchdown, before Hayden Mantooth converted the two-point conversion. 

Trevor Schaaf finished the game with nine carries for 107 yards with one touchdown, while Logan Schaaf had 25 carries for 68 yards with two touchdowns. 

Logan Schaaf also finished 5-for-5 passing for 116 yards and two touchdowns. 

Carson Fulton was the leading receiver for the Eagles, catching two passes for 58 yards and one touchdown. Luke Honea had one catch for 40 yards. 

Wilson (1-0) will be on the road at 7:30 p.m. Friday night against Caddo.
