Miss Jayci Lee Martin and Mr. Howard Christopher McMurry were united in marriage on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at six o’clock in the evening at First Baptist Church in Ardmore. The ceremony was officiated by Dr. Alton Fannin. Music for the ceremony was provided by Jacque Telford, Jill Hagan, and Landon Johnson. The bride's parents hosted a reception at the Ardmore Garden Club. On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Courtyard 118 in Ardmore.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Martin of Ardmore. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Willingham of Mustang, Okla.; the late Mr. Ron Perryman and Ms. Shirlene Perryman of Gainesville, Texas; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Martin of Ardmore. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Craig McMurry of Ardmore. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Biles of Ardmore, and Mr. James McMurry and the late Mrs. Martha Sue McMurry of Ardmore.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an off-the-shoulder, sweetheart neckline gown of ivory Duchess satin and Chantilly lace by Madeline Gardner. The gown featured crystal details, custom sleeves with crystal and embroidery, and a sweeping chapel train. It was complemented by a tulle cathedral length veil with a scalloped, crystal encrusted train. The bride carried a lush, hand-tied bouquet of creamy white peonies, eucalyptus, and lamb’s ear.

Ms. Ali Noland of Ardmore, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids included Miss Kourtney Ross, Miss Kaylie Harkins, and Miss Lauren Ledbetter, all of Ardmore;  Mrs. Allison Smart of Boulder, Colo.; and Mrs. Lauren McCathern of Norman, Okla. Junior bridesmaids included Miss Madison Chavez of Ardmore, niece of the groom, and Miss Loren Willingham of Gilmer, Texas, cousin of the bride. The flower girls were Miss Lila Willingham of Gilmer, Texas, cousin of the bride; Miss Elizabeth Chavez of Ardmore, niece of the groom; and Miss Kaydence Noland of Ardmore. The Maid of Honor and bridesmaids wore gowns of varying lengths in midnight blue. Each carried a single cream peony.

Mr. H. Craig McMurry, father of the groom, served as Best Man. Groomsmen included David McMurry and Daniel McMurry of Ardmore, brothers of the groom; Kerry Martin of Ardmore, brother of the bride; Chris McMurry, of Ardmore, uncle of the groom; Carl McMurry of Keller, Texas, uncle of the groom; and Angelo Rizzo of Lone Grove, uncle of the groom. The ring bearers were Jackson Chavez of Ardmore, nephew of the groom, and Liam Willingham of Harker Heights, Texas, cousin of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of Plainview High School in Ardmore. She graduated magna cum laude from East Central University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, and is now a Pre-K teacher at Plainview Primary in Ardmore. The groom is a graduate of Ardmore High School. He graduated magna cum laude from Oklahoma Baptist with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Languages, and went on to earn his Masters of Theological Studies from Duke University and a Masters of Theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently a Ph.D candidate, summa cum laude, at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is the pastor at Jimtown Baptist Church in Burneyville, Okla.

Following a honeymoon in the Florida Keys, Jayci and Howard will reside in Burneyville.
