Ardmore Police Department’s Investigations Division is seeking information leading to the arrest of Jose Sabastian-Bello, a convicted sex offender out of Texas.
New charges are being presented to the Carter County District Attorney on Sebastian-Bello for domestic assault and failure to register as a sex offender, Woolly said. The alleged assault occurred on Sept. 15 in the 1000 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
APD Sgt. Brice Woolly said Sabastian-Bello uses several aliases, including Victor Martinez and Reynaldo Villarreal.
“That’s what brought our attention to him,” Woolly said. “Then we found out about his sex offender status in Texas.”
According to an APD press release, Sebastian-Bello is in the country illegally and was previously deported for criminal activity, including the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in Texas.
Sebastian-Bello is believed to be driving a two-door, green Toyota Solara with a sunroof.
Woolly also said there is an ongoing investigation with the Federal Immigration office (ICE) and they are assisting as well.
APD is asking anyone with information to contact the department at (580) 223-1212 or your local law enforcement agency.
