The son of Alton Williams and Christeen Eakins Williams, Jimmy was born May 24, 1955, in Gainesville, Texas. He passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta, at the age of 63.
A resident of Love County most of his life, Jimmy attended school at Leon, and graduated from Turner High School, Burneyville, with the class of 1973. He was employed as a driller in the oil field for a number of years and also in the maintenance department of Peterbilt. Jimmy and the former Anna Treadwell were married in Gainesville on Oct. 12, 1973.
Jimmy loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family and friends. He also loved being a Papa to his grandchildren.
