With regionals on the horizon, several area teams got a chance to get in some quality reps during the Cameron University Invitational on Saturday in Lawton.

With regionals on the horizon, several area teams got a chance to get in some quality reps during the Cameron University Invitational on Saturday in Lawton. 

The Lone Grove Lady Horns took third overall at the meet, with the Dickson Lady Comets also competing. 

Runners from the Lone Grove and Dickson boys teams also ran at the event.

Lauren Hendry ran the best time for the Lady Comets as she finished fourth overall with a time of 13:46, with teammate Ashley Clem in 11th at 14:10, and Katlen Clem in 13th at 14:34 and Abby Arnold clocking in at 17:19.

Cheyanne Davis was the top finisher for Lone Grove in eighth overall at 13:59, with Michelle Brooks in 21st at 15:32. 

Krystal McCollum finished at 17:37.08, with Gracie Ellis at 17:38, Katelyn Taylor (18:20) and Jacelyn Gay at 18:30. 

In the boys race, it was Dickson’s Leonardo Banda finishing second overall with a time of 19:16. 

Representing Lone Grove was Karson Clemons in 20th overall with time of 22:34, with Nathan Dethloff at 28:32.
