Kori Irene Brooks, 19, of Ardmore, has been formally charged in district court for a December 2017 felony of second degree burglary.
According to documents filed in Carter County District Court Wednesday, Brooks allegedly committed the crime by breaking and entering into a residence in the 3400 block of Stobtown Road in Ardmore. Court records indicate property of value was obtained by Brooks by breaking a window with the intent to commit theft.
The crime is punishable by imprisonment for two to seven years per Oklahoma state statute.
Brooks was summoned to court for the offense on Thursday, Oct. 18, before District Judge Carson Brooks. According to the summons filed, if Brooks does not appear, a warrant for her arrest will be issued.
