Michelin North America issues statement concerning injured worker

Michelin North America issued the following statement Wednesday regarding an accident at the plant on Sunday evening that resulted in a woman being airlifted to an Oklahoma City hospital.

This statement came from Lynn Mann, director of public relations.

“Our prayers and well wishes are with our injured employee and her family during this difficult time. We are very pleased that her injuries were not more serious and that she is expected to make a full recovery. Out of respect for the privacy of our employee and her family, no further details on her condition or the incident will be released publicly. I can reassure you that the safety of our employees remains Michelin’s top priority and the incident is being fully investigated.”
