The Annual Festival of Lights Auction has been scheduled for Nov. 10 at the Ardmore Convention Center.
This year’s theme is “CandyLand — A Sweet Celebration of the Holidays.”
The decorations, food and sweet confections will carry out the theme throughout the venue. A wine bar and live auction will also be featured.
More than 90 items will be featured in the silent auction, including an overnight weekend stay at the Doubletree – Warren Place in Tulsa, a miter saw, gift certificates from Kiddie Land, luxurious skin care products from the Skin Clinic (including MD Forte and Jane Iredale Cosmetics) and much more. The live auction items follow the CandyLand theme and include “A Lollipop Adventure,” a trip to “Gumdrop Mountain,” an evening of wine, dinner and a Queen Frostine dessert, a sports adventure and more.
The silent auction will begin at 5 p.m. with the live auction to follow at 7 p.m.
The Festival of Lights Auction is the primary fund-raiser for the Festival of Lights Drive-Thru Display in Regional Park. The display features more than 125 scenes, many of them animated, throughout the one and one-half mile drive.
The annual auction, coordinated by the Ardmore Chamber of Commerce, has raised more than $65,000 in recent years to provide lighting throughout the city and, most recently, to fund acquisitions to the drive-thru display.
