Ringling, OK —

A September trial date has been set for Nichola Frasier, a mother accused of endeavouring to manufacture a controlled dangerous substance and child neglect.

Assistant District Attorney Carrie Hixon said that the earliest possible date for the trial is Sept. 14, the first day of a two- week term.

Frasier appeared at a formal arraignment before Judge Joe Enos on June 16, where she pleaded not guilty.

OSBI agents arrested Frasier on April 8 in connection with a Jan. 5 house fire that ended in the death of Frasier’s two daughters and Frasier’s cousin, Luther Wayne Gregg.

Hixon said the child neglect charge stems from allegations Frasier was allegedly out trying to purchase drug materials instead of supervising her children.

Frasier faces life in prison if convicted of the felony charges. Her $100,000 bond has not been posted and she awaits trial in the Jefferson County Jail.
