A Burneyville man was airlifted to a Dallas hospital after he was injured in an ATV accident Sunday.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper Walter Jack said David L. Black Jr., 58, and a friend were using a 4-wheeler to hunt on private property five miles north of Leon when the accident occurred. Black was driving the ATV when he hit a large hole and was thrown off the vehicle, which landed on him.
EagleMed personnel treated Black and flew him to Parkland Hospital where he was admitted in critical condition with head and trunk internal injuries.
