The Dillard Volunteer Fire Department invites everyone to come to their 2nd Annual Poker Run and Cake Auction on Saturday.
The Poker Run will start at the Dillard Fire Station located 1.25 miles north of U.S. Highway 70 on Dillard Road just north of Wilson.
First rider out will be at 9 a.m. and the last rider is due in by 3 p.m. Entry fee is $15 and $5 for each additional hand. All vehicles are welcome.
The first 50 entries to sign up will receive a free 2nd Annual Poker Run T-shirt. Something new this year will be trivia questions on the back of the forms to add a little fun challenge to the ride. There will be clues along the route to help answer trivia.
Burgers will be served at the fire station throughout the day. The cake auction will begin at 3:30 p.m. There will be live music and games for the kids, so participants should bring lawn chairs to sit in the shade for a day of fun. Several cooks donate desserts each year for the cake auction.
The fire department is currently constructing a new station on the premises. Money raised at this event will help fund this project.
Those who cannot attend and would like to make a donation to the fire department can send it to the Dillard Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 665, Wilson, OK 73463.
