Hosted by Healdton Chamber of Commerce and KCIM at Healdton Municipal Lake. Fireworks begin at 8:45 p.m. Vendors selling watermelon, funnel cakes and more will be set up at 6 p.m. The coronation of Mr. and Mrs. Liberty is at 8 p.m. A street dance with music from Young Guns DJ follows the fireworks.
MARSHALL COUNTY
Marshall County Chamber of Commerce fireworks show starts at 9-9:30 tonight at the Lake Texoma State Lodge.
Chickasaw Nation fireworks show starts at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Texoma Gaming Center off U.S. Highway 70 east of Kingston.
JOHNSTON COUNTY
Tonight: Star spangled talent contest. Registration at 5:30, starts at 6 p.m. on Main Street. All ages can enter. Watermelon seed spitting contest follows the talent show.
Fireworks display at Murray State College across from the sports complex, starts around dusk.
Saturday: Festival in Pennington Creek Park. Parade at 9 a.m.
WILSON
Fireworks show by the Wilson Volunteer Fire Department starts at dark at the Wilson High School softball field. Gates open at 7 p.m. Hamburger dinners available for $4. Music from the band “Old School” starts before the fireworks.
LOVE COUNTY
Lake Murray fireworks show starts at 9:15 p.m. at the R.C. Flying Field.
Falconhead fireworks show starts at dusk with viewing location behind the pro shop.
LONE GROVE
Celebration hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Lone Grove at Sullivan Family Park. Entertainment starts at 6 p.m. with country music from Dale Chaney and Friends, as well as a free watermelon feed and watermelon seed spitting contest. Concessions will be available from the Kiwanis Club. The Lone Grove Volunteer Fire Department will conduct the fireworks show at dusk.
