Man hospitalized after motorcycle crash

Ardmore, OK —

A 65-year-old Kingston man was injured Friday afternoon when he lost control of the motorcycle he was driving on a rocky private drive.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Paul L. McGranahan was air lifted to Baylor Hospital in Dallas where he was admitted in serious condition with neck injuries.
According to the patrol, the accident occurred about 2:15 p.m. 2.5 miles south of Kingston. McGranahan was driving a 1992 Suzuki. The motorcycle turned on its’ side and slid about 38 feet. The cause of the crash was listed as unsafe speed.
Trooper Rodney Davis, Marshall County Detachment of Troop E, headquartered in Durant, investigated the crash.
