Ardmore, OK —

Ardmore Crime Stoppers is offering a potential reward for information about the April 26 attempted armed robbery of a South Commerce Street convenience store.

“Dispatch advised Lasley’s One Stop had a subject walk up to the drive-through window and demand their money,” Cpl. Ruben Garcia, Ardmore Police Department Public Relations, said. “The subject had his face covered. When the clerk refused and informed him he was being recorded the subject left the area. He did not get any money.”

Persons with information concerning the attempted armed robbery are urged to call Crime Stoppers at (580) 504-4LAW (4529) or log on to www.ardmorecrimestoppers.com. Garcia said all persons providing information can remain anonymous.

Two types of rewards are possible. A “quick $100” can be earned for information leading to the identity and arrest of the suspect. A reward of up to $1,000 is possible for information leading to the identity, arrest and successful prosecution of the suspect through preliminary hearing.
