Matt Holder, Springer School superintendent, has been named to People’s Electric Cooperative’s Board of Trustees.
PEC is a member-owned electric distribution cooperative.
“The addition of Mr. Holder to PEC’s Board ensures our company will continue to benefit from a diversity of knowledge and background. Matt is well qualified because of his strong leadership skills and long-time ties to PEC’s service area, particularly in Murray and Garvin Counties,” Executive Vice President and CEO Randy Ethridge said.
Holder was the principal at Sulphur Intermediate School, assistant principal at Elmore City and a teacher and coach at Purcell High School. A native of Pauls Valley, Holder earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from East Central University. He and his wife, Kena, the school counselor at Sulphur’s Intermediate School, live southeast of Sulphur with their two children.
