A building permit for The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation pushed year-to-date construction in Ardmore to $92,769,969 in July.
The City of Ardmore issued 37 building permits in July for estimated construction costs of $6,437,361. Noble Foundation’s construction is estimated at $5,154,613 for laboratories.
“This is the completion of one of the research buildings constructed as part of the Noble Foundation’s $100 million campus expansion project,” said Adam Calaway, director of public relations. “The laboratories will be consistent with existing laboratories in the Forage Improvement building.”
The additional space will allow for future growth/expansion of research programs and the continuation of the collaborative research occurring on the Noble Foundation campus, according to Calaway. However, there are no specific growth/expansions plans at this time.
July’s building permits included three new homes for estimated construction costs of $578,840, and a new laundromat at 630 W. Main St. for $126,800. Residential repairs, alterations and additions came to $219,860. Three permits for pools were issued for building costs estimated at $30,725.
Permits for demolition, signs, storage buildings, sprinkler systems, garage/carports, fences and a pool cabana are included in totals, but not listed in this version of the report.
