Authorities allege Jason Dale St. Clair used his pickup to bump another vehicle three times in an April 24 incident that resulted in the death of a 19-year-old Tishomingo resident.
St. Clair was charged with second degree murder last week in a criminal complaint filed in Marshall County. Associate Judge Richard Miller issued an arrest warrant at that time. Authorities said St. Clair, a security guard, surrendered and made an initial appearance. He is currently free on a $25,000 bond pending an Aug. 13 court date.
A Kenefic resident, St. Clair is charged with the death of Christopher Lee Sellers, a passenger in an Isuzu Rodeo driven by Henry Tyler Lee Allen. They were accompanied by two females.
An earlier account said St. Clair, accompanied by three males, initially contacted Allen in the area of Buddy’s Crushed Cars and a pursuit ensued. The vehicles went into Madill and to a point west of Kingston where Allen’s vehicle overturned. An Oklahoma Highway Patrol report said at least three intentional collisions were initiated by St. Clair before the crash. The incident was investigated by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and Highway Patrol at the request of Madill police.
Second degree murder carries a sentence of 10 years to life in prison.
