Cathy Bartgis’ Plainview Elementary second-graders sponsored the “Souper Bowl,” a canned-food drive in which fans donated according to their favorite Super Bowl team.
The Saints beat the Colts 168 to 112. Other activities throughout the week included reading and writing football stories, counting the cans by 10’s and eating Saints and Colts cupcakes.
