The Southern Oklahoma Republican Women’s Club will have its monthly meeting on Monday at the Prairie Kitchen in Ardmore. The meeting will begin at noon.
Angie LaPlante, Oklahoma Republican Party vice-chairman, will present “Why We Need You in 2010.”
LaPlante has held numerous positions with the Republican Women organization. She has also done extensive work with the Boy Scouts of America, Last Frontier Council. She was named 2004 Woman of the Year by the Edmond chapter of Republican Women.

Next month’s meeting is scheduled for Dec. 7 in the Amber Room.
